This is a simple question, but I thought it would be good to get the
opinion of the list.
My 76 TR6 radiator has a metal fatigue crack at the flange of the filler
inlet. When I tighten the radiator cap, the metal bends up and is
eventually going to snap off. Can I have this repaired, or should I
bite the bullet and replace the whole thing considering the likelihood
of future failures of another variety. My car has extremely low (6,300)
miles but I'm not sure what influence that has on the effect of the crud
that lives inside the cooling system.
