Hi Steve,
Almost real time ... my background is in electro-mechanical systems so I am
quite happy with looking at EFI (although I know that there is a learning
curve issue in there). However, I know that a low-cost EFI system will
start with throttle bodies and the like .... so all the TR6's are pushed to
the Lucas system either way. I'd did look at the Advance system after an
online tip, but $2200 for an ECU/manifold system is just too much. Haltech
is cheaper, but for the moment, I'll go down the mech. route - hell, owning
a LBC is full of those interesting mostly-male in-the-garage beer-based
thought-exchanging talks anyway.
On the exhaust front - mine has the PI dual downpipes (made after CC75000),
but luckily, still has the early cam ... with the later head. I feel like
someone who got in the right queue (for our UK folks) at the checkout
counter - all the right bits, and did I plan, not one bit!).
Cheers,
Tony
