It really depends.  I use a dual 2" S.U. setup.  I like it a log and only
lose a little bit to the tripple weber setup...plug I get a 100 pound
advantage.  The 2" setup is pretty common in england for club racing.  The
Triple weber setup Is nice and once setup very reliable, but probably only
gets you an advantage at really high RPM's.
