Some years ago, I found a NOS Lucas coil that looks just like the original TR2 coil as pictured in the workshop manual. It has the high "tower" for the HT lead, it uses the HT lead with the round metal plate on the end for the contact, etc. However, the Lucas number cross-referenced to a Cadillac Allard. Does anyone have any idea how it would differ from the TR2 coil, and whether there would be a reason to not use it with a TR2? |
