I was curious about changing my 76 TR6 rear end ratio to something like a
4.11 which I've seen offered at a couple of places. My car is an overdrive
car (factory installed), so I was thinking that the highway RPM's should be
bearable. I think it has a 3.77 now, but I won't swear to that. It is the
factory unit, I know that for sure. My goal is solely to gain 0-60
acceleration outside of the usual engine performance modifications (cam,
compression, exhaust, etc). Does anyone have any experience with this? If
so, tell me about what kind of 0-60 acceleration gain I would achieve versus
what RPM's it would be turning at, say, 75 mph. Is this a good idea?
Thanks,

drive 13 hours and never leave the state but the Dallas Cowboys still stink)
