Subject: Winter Parts Sale from TRF
Dear TRF List Members:
We are in the midst of a winter storm here in Pennsylvania, as are
most
of you across the country. Spring can't be too far away though. We are
hoping that you are having some time to work on your Triumph or MGB
between
snow shoveling sessions.
Many of you have asked about The Roadster Factory's Famous Winter
Parts
Sale. The official starting date of the sale is January 18th but we
have
decided that since we have this convenient method of contacting you, we
will
start the sale a week early. You may begin placing your Winter Parts
Sale
Saturday January 9th. The Winter Parts Sale Catalogue should arrive to
you
during the week beginning January 18th but since the terms of the sale
are
fairly simple, we will list them here for you so that you can place your
orders now. Feel free to pass this information along to your friends
who
are not on the list and encourage them to sign up for future mailings.
Phase I of the Sale is in effect between now and February 15th. Use
the
February 15, 1997 Green Price List to determine base prices during Phase
I.
During Phase I, save 15% on all orders up to $1,500.00, and save 20% on
all
orders over $1,500.00. If you are a member of TRF Car Club, save an
additional 5%, (20% up to $1,500.00, and 25% over $1,500.00). This is a
good time to join TRF Car Club if you are not already a member.
If your TRF Car Club membership has expired during the past year, we
are
allowing a grace period to renew without penalty through February 15th.
Remember that when you renew for $100.00, you will receive an instant
$100.00 parts credit. You may also renew early if you wish.
Heritage body shells are exempt from the Winter Parts Sale discount
except that TRF Car Club members may take 5% off on body shells ordered
during Phase I.
Between now and January 31st, we are offering FREE UPS or U.S. MAIL
to
the continental United States, and FREE MAIL to Canadian addresses. Act
quickly to take advantage of this offer. Crating fees, where
applicable,
will be an additional cost.
We are preparing our 1999 Blue Price List which will become effective
at
the end of Phase I. The sale will continue at that point with terms to
be
announced.
The prices in the two Christmas catalogues will still be in effect
through January 16th. The Winter Parts Discounts and the Free Shipping
offers do not apply to the net prices found in the Christmas catalogues.
Please be sure to indicate that you are placing an order from one of the
two
Christmas catalogues so that we give you the proper pricing. Totals
from
Christmas catalogue orders cannot be used toward Winter Parts Sale
totals.
The Summer Party will be held August 6-8, 1999. To celebrate the
30th
anniversary of the introduction of the Triumph TR6, we are designating
the
TR6 as the Featured Model of Summer Party 99. We would like to have a
record number of TR6's in August so please spread the word. The 6-Pack
Club
will be holding special events as part of the Summer Party, and we will
have
additional classes for the TR6 in the various driving events and the car
show.
Over the next week a version of the Winter Parts Sale Catalogue will
appear on our web site along with articles on the 1998 Summer Party and
preliminary information on Summer Party 99. A registration form for
Summer
Party 99 will also be included. We have some nice surprises planned for
the
Summer Party. Check the site often for updates.
