True for earlier TR's with the finger type clutch. Note that they have a return
spring mounted externally on the slave cyl. bracket for this purpose. They also
feature an adjustable fork on the slave as well.

Very interesting, I picked up a few last year for our stock and some were sans
hole,
while others were clearly from a different manufacturer and did have the hole.
