And then we come to the easy bit - the cars made in Coventry for
export as B/U (built up) vehicles.

For markets outside the 'developed' world, the spec was normally
this:

Vertical dip lights
Larger radiator and cooler thermostat
Low compression engine (usually 7:1) and if you were really lucky
(!!!!!!!) with additionally retarded ignition.
Massive battery (in size - cranking speed mediocre)
Rubber mats instead of carpet
Heavy duty shock absorbers
Heavy duty springs
Drum front brakes (even on the 13/60)
Vitesse fuel tank
Laminated windscreen
Cross-ply Dunlop C41 'Groundhogs'
Waterproofing (fairly indifferent - but wasn't it always like that?)

A truly delightful mode of transport guaranteed to come second in the
traffic light Grand Prix - with the winner usually being an electric
milk float.
