Hi,

You're pulling apart the "inner shaft" for your TR6 diff., right?

You need a special tool to do this. Without using the special tool, you
will unboubtedly ruin yout hub flange.

Find a shoppe that has experience with doing this particular job. If you
talk to a shop and they do not have experience - go elsewhere.

Many of us on this list have ruined at least one of these puppies in the past.

If you want more information what tool(s) you need to do this job, drop me
a line. In short, you need something to bolt to the flange and make it
"extra strong" such that when you apply the _tons_ of force required to
separate things - that you don't twist the flange.

And please do not use heat here. The axle stub is tempered and will be
weakned by too much heat.

The flange attaches to the axle stub with a "taper seat". Those puppies
become "married" together... and they don't want a divorce. ;-)

See ya,
