Interesting article in this months "Kit Car" magazine. There's a feature on
a car called the "Dio".
It looks a lot like a 50's Maserati Birdcage.
The interesting part is that it's designed to fit a TR2-6 chassis. Might be
a good use for that extra chassis that you might have lying around. It was
a rather attactive design, and with v-8 power, must really move. The basic
body was @ $2500, but I'm sure that anything resembleing a completed car
would have to be at least 4 times that much.
Also, there was an article on a UK built Cobra replica. The wheels looked
like TR6 stock steel wheels, so this one also must have Triumph suspension
parts. Wow, 2 alternate uses for a rusted out TR in one magazine!
