Nothing wrong with that IMHO, they perform the same task as a wiper motor,
that is turning for about two turns, I'd say the motors were quite happy
being headlamp motors as their life was much easier than the wiper ones.
(considering british claimate that is, the californian ones were sort of
caught on the left foot I guess) If the motors were developed by Triumph I
guess it would have been completely new units, shaving off another couple of
quid of their profit, now, tell me, which company still exists today?
