I just finished replacing the open rings on my tonneau with lift a dots.  I
thought I would have to replace the posts too, but after a 75 mph test run with
no problems, I think I'll leave them alone for a while.

Have you tried putting original  needle and seats back in to see if the problem
persists?  I've heard of folks having problems with Grose-Jets causing
flooding.  Never used them myself.
