Bobby Sykes,  after three long months of intense analysis.  :-)
A man who by birthright, should have the inside track on understanding
these cryptic thingys.  I'm mean,  I would 've thought that these
silly symbols were all over streets of Liverpool given the cavalier
way they're sprinkled around the wiring diagrams.  :-)

You do realise that we'd all be speaking German today if wasn't for
some decent airplanes and dedicated code-crackers.
