I too am using Simplex on my TR4-A engine rebuild. They do some LBC work for
Mack Motors (RI based LBC mechanics/racers), etc and was good enough to go the
extra distance in looking for flaws in my block based on their previous
experiences. They actually found another block for me when they discovered
irreparable cracks in my original block. They also seem like pretty nice folks.

        Brian,
If it's not too far for you, try Simplex engine & machine corp. at 1011
Westminster St. in Providence, RI. Call Steve Clair at (401) 331-3500.
They're very familiar with our LBC's. When I had a head done there a
couple of
years ago, Steve was kind enough to point out that the valves had the
wrong
        keepers installed.
