Phil, perhaps you could give us your definition of "reliability"? There 
is little, if anything, inherently unreliable about a completely stock, 
well-tuned and well-maintined Mk.3 Spitfire. Not even electrical 
problems. If you're looking to increase performance and/or add modern 
stereo, lighting and such, that's another matter.

Just my thoughts....
