Results to Day 20
Day 20 was Thursday 12 November and was the Kampala (Uganda) to Eldoret
(Kenya) stage for the Classic Reliability Trial.
A 500 km stage, where, after a ceremonial flag-off from Kampala, the classics
follow the 4 x 4's, with the added challenge of two regularities and a medal
section. taking in the Nile river's source, and Bujagali Falls, before
climbing into the cool Kenya highlands. Overnight Sinkwa Hotel, Eldoret.
John Kipping and John Thomason in their Triumph Vitesse (Car # 18)
with just 456.3 penalty points are still first in their class with a Silver
Medal.
Since that report, they should have driven to Dar Es Salaam for a rest stop
today, and probably nailing the Triumph back together ???
