I like the Triumphest philosophy for their Funcours: "No deductions will be
made for modifications, unless they are poorly executed, or inappropriate. Even
radical modifications, if purposeful and well done, will not necessarily be
counted against your car." The drawback to this is that most cars get an

My car just squeaked into the Gold section this year, the same as the trailer
queens. Though I admit my car should not be in the same class. I like to look
at the trailer queens, and they have an important role in the Triumph world.
But I have my car to drive, and it is driven hard at times.
I read some of the rules for a Healy meet judging. You picked up points for
modification. So many points and you are a modified car. With those rules, I
might be modified based on tire size alone. It's all a matter of what you want.
