If you mean the front 1959 plate that he didn't want rubbing his bumper,
yes he did. He found a bracket from another car (can't recall which
one). It's offset so only part of it touches the bumper. Then, he put a
rubber pad between it and the bumper and bolted the plate to the
bracket. Looks very nice.
Fred's welcome at my house on the way to Portland, but I won't be there
- I'm headed to Portland too (hopefully with a TR by then)! VTR is about
3 hours away from me so I'll have a hard time explaining why I can't go!
You gonna make the trip?
