That makes sense, in a way. If numbers are on the low side but rise to or 
near "spec" with the oil in the cylinders, that's a reasonably good sign 
that rings are worn. However, if the initial dry test yields numbers at 
or close to "spec," then it might not be necessary to do the wet test?
