Gary et al,
When I first spoke to Billy I think he quoted me something like $170 for a
single-bore master cylinder. After talking with him for a while I
discovered he was referring to a higher-end service, where they not only
clean and re-bore the cylinder, but re-assemble it and coat it with
something (was it powder coat? I forget). I didn't want to end up with a
coated cylinder (I had the impression it would be black, but this could be
wrong), and felt I could re-assemble it myself, so opted for the basic
service, which was $50/bore.
He didn't come right out with the lower price option until I had talked
with him for a while. I forgot about all this until I read your note, so I
hope this extra information helps.
Regards,
Jim

Jim,
I ran into Billy at the Hershey antique auto show 2 weeks ago and
inquired about the servicing of a brake booster and resleeving the
master cylinder for a TR6. He quoted $470 for the pair! He's a bit
high IMHO!
He had some good Virginia apples though.

$100 if you have a dual-bore cylinder, and they give fast turnaround.
