So this black, sooty stuff is collecting on the back of my GT6+. Obviously coming from the exhaust. I've been told that means my carbs are set too rich. But I've read in my Haynes Stromberg CD manual that the Stromberg 150 CDs on my '70 GT6+ are not adjustable for mixture! Moving off from a stop requires revving the engine to keep it from bogging, cold or hot. Is this related? Any tips sincerely appreciated. John Donohoe '70 GT6+ KC 81718 '70 GT6+ (future Sixfire?) |
