Here's how things were stuck onto CD 4311 L:
From top(rear end of hood), the order is as follows
1)the black "patents" decal
2)the white "Federal Standards Control of Air Polution"
3) the white "Emissions Control Settings"
First, here are the anchonyms- LE= Left Edge
RAB= Rear Across Brace
Sticker 1) is between 5 1/8" and 9 1/2" right of the LE, and
between 1 3/16" and 3 3/4 down from the RAB
Sticker 2) is between 5 5/16" and 10 1/16 right of LE, and
between 4" and 6 9/16" down from RAB
Sticker 3) is between 5 15/16" and 10" right of LE, and
between 6 3/4" and 8 1/8" down from RAB
I realize it is hard to measure the curved surface of the hood, but I
used a straight steel ruler, and tried to be as accurate as possible. I
don't think the Triumph factory men were very critical, but this is how my
car was laid out. The stickers were original.
