Juat a note for those considering future dash refinishing.
The comment about our dash varnishes being immune to common strippers is
not
really true....it only seems that way!! I had to keep the stripper on for
hours (even overnight) to get it to sink in and do its job. Even then, I
had
to do several applications over a weekend to get it stripped.

Carl, WHat brand stripper did you use? I must admit that I did not let
my stripper sit overnight, but I DID let it sit for an hour. I will take
some of the
chips and re-test them in the stripper.
