There is a company called "Thermo-Tec" that offers products called
High-Velocity Exhaust Jackets. They are supposed to reduce radiant heat
by 70 percent. THey are in Greenwich,OH (1-800-274-8437) and have a web
site: www.thermotec.com.
That's all I know about this.
