Bryan,
I have replaced a number of u-joints. Sometime all goes smoothly and
sometimes it's a real battle. When I was struggling with the u-joints on my
Sports 6' driveshaft I got fed up and took the driveshaft to a Driveline
repair company in Tampa called Mike's Driveline. Not only did they have the
u-joints in stock, they were cheaper than mail order prices. The labor to
replace 2 u-joints and balance the shaft was ..... $8.00. I generally
prefer to do all repairs myself but for $8 I no longer fool with ordering
the parts and fighting the fight. By the way, I just droppped off the rear
axles for new u-joints as well. There is probably a driveline specialist
near you. Good luck.
