I was reading in Automobile last night about the new range of "British"
cars that BMW will be reviving from the Rover group. One of them is to be a
companion car to the Z3. Beginning production as a roadster (in the modern
term), with a coupe version to follow. The name has not been decided yet.
The rumor is to name it either an A-H 3000, or a TR9. It is to be powered
by a Rover 3.5 litre V6. Appearing shortly after the millennia (2002-4) and
would be built right here in America, alongside the Z3 in South Carolina.
