Just in case anyone was wondering (not likely), I thought I'd report finding the source of the shaking in the steering column of my GT6. The problem wasn't bad ball joints, or wheel bearings, or any of that -- it seems the bolt holding the column brace to the inside of the dash facia had fallen out. Discovered the missing little mother after reinstalling the center support, which I had removed for an unrelated repair. Gee. I feel kinda dumb now ... but I'm happy. -- Martin Secrest 73 GT6 72 TR6 |
