Hello list:
Wondering if any list members have converted the rear main seal on the wet
sleeve enginges to the "modern" lip seal available from Moss and TRF? I
have been told installing this seal does require machining the crank. Is
this a worthwhile conversion? Asking if it does produce a leak free rear
main and it is worth the expense and work.
Maybe I should learn to live with the drips? Or, as Greg Petrolati says,
just a way of our cars marking their territory.
BTW, if any list members got to the Bronte British Car Day in Ontario
Canada, quite a show! Had to be at least 1000+ cars there. Counted at
least 15 TR3's and a TR2 with commission no. 29!! was on display as well.
The number of TR6's in attendance was amazing. Excellent show and day.
Thanks,
Angelo Graham
