My 4A has an original dealer-supplied (after-market) steering wheel.
I wonder where it came from. It replaced the original because
the first owner thought the original wheel was too large.
This is a mahogany colored fine grain wood wheel (no rivets like the
moto-lita). The 3 spokes are aluminum with 4 holes of
progressively smaller sizes. The spokes have
radiused flares as they merge with the rim. The spokes
come off at 9:30, 2:30 and 6:00.
On the bottom of the downward pointing spoke there is a logo.
The logo is two superimposed letter "L"s. The top one
is slightly to the left and above the bottom L. The bottom L
has cross hatching that is maybe 20 degrees off vertical.
Has anyone ever seen one of these? I have seem a photo of
an interior from an E-type and the steering wheel looks very similar,
but it was taken from outside the car.
