Since I had to tear the back of the GT6 to do gas tank repair, I decided I'd
go ahead and get rid of the 30 year old now-soaked-in-gas fiber insulation.
I've decided to put Dynamat in for vibration/noise control. Once I get the
tank back, I'll post the results, if any. Is there any common replacement
for the fiber insulation that I can cover the Dynamat with? I've considered
a good thick carpet pad, but would prefer to stay as original as possible.
None of the big three seem to offer this stuff. Comments to my e-mail or
the list as appropriate.

TIA! ;~)
