I like to offer my service as an exorcist. Please deliver the car to my
home. I should not expect that the exorcism will take more than several
months.

Subject: Haunted TR7
I have this really strange problem with my TR7; every now an then the
headlights pop up of their own accord. It's really quite stange, and
somewhat disconcerting. I don't think they flash, cos it doesn't seem to
annoy other drivers. It's always immediately preceding by what I can only
describe as an 'electrical' noise from the fuse box. Sounds as is something
is sparking or shorting out. I've fiddled around in there, but can't find
anything out of the ordinary, and can't force it to happen by wiggling
wires and relays etc. When it comes to electrical stuff, I'm really out of
my depth, so I don't know where else to look. And if all that wasn't
enough, it even happens without the ignition on. Just the other day a
friend came round, and she stopped by the car (which was just sitting
outside my house all locked up) to admire it cos I'd just polished it up
all nice the previous day, and it scared her half to death when the lights
started going up and down completely unprompted!
I'm quite happy to leave it as it is, it adds that extra bit of character
which makes it even more special, but I'm a little worried that it could go
seriously wrong or maybe be a fire risk or worse. The one good thing is
that they have never dropped down while I've been driving with them on!
Any suggestions?
