UPS COD only works well if by "Well" you mean "You are assured of
getting the money."
The drawbacks are:
1. It adds to the cost
2. It delays the time it takes for the shipper to receive the money
3. It delays the shipment delivery since the part has to be checked in
and out and the financial transaction has to take place.
This list is better than that!!! The few times that there have been
reported problems using the honor system have ended up always being
misunderstandings and not intentional fraud.
