There is one which was restored by members of the Confederate Air Force,
which is normally stored in Midland, TX, I think. It is flown
occasionally to big events and air shows, I believe, but the operating
costs are very high, in the neighborhood of $1500/hr. I read something
on the only flying B-24 around, and the engines, all together, pushed
something like 10-15 gal. of oil an hour. (And we thought oil went
through an LBC. <g>)
Cheers.
