take off fuel hose at one of carbs or similar easy access spot and turn over
engine ... have done it many times with no fires (try to aim so spurts away
from wiring and generator or if you want to be 'shofistikated' attach hose and
route to ground)...you can use the auxiliary starter button (near the starter
motor) rather than the key ignition ... you should get some healthy spurts of
gas even in just a few revs.

you do know about the priming lever below the fuel pump I assume ... sometimes
that helps to get carb bowls filled up after it's been sitting for a while ...
just pump till resistance subsides
ps what does PM mean (pulled motor?, evening, ???)
