I don't know about a '79, but I get fuel filters from the local auto store
for a '72.  I don't remember the brand, but it is a national that has a
little computer gadget that you tell it year and model of your car and it
locates an oil, air, and fuel filter.  Looks just like the original as far
as I can tell.
