Terry,
I saw a Spit with a V8 and automatic Trans last year at Mad Dogs &
Englishmen car show here in Michigan.  I think the guy is from Indiana woh
did it.  He named the car Rosies Diner.  I think I even sae a picture of his
car in a magazine in fron of the Diner too.  Sorry, but I can not tell you
what modifications were made to the car.  Maybe someone on the list could
help.
