Hi there, it's me again, the car show junkie. Me and the Mistress went up
to Schenectady yesterday for Adirondack Triumphs' British Motorfest. What a
day for a show! What a bunch of nice cars! There were over a hundred
entrants of all sorts, including a few rare (to me) cars. An MGC/GT caught
my eye, along with an MGA twin-cam. Triumphs were in evidence, although
there was only one TR4 and a solitary GT6. Dennis Culligan has no reason to
complain, since his blue TR6 garnered a trophy and all of the red cars
(including mine) went home empty-handed. I made the acquaintance of a
number of Listers: Rik and Vicki S. (turns out she's a ralliest from way
back), Dennis Culligan and Mike O'Gorman. Ed Hutchinson and his wife
appeared mid-morning for recreation. The ride home was very nice through
some of the twistiest back roads I could find.
Congrats to ATA on a job well done.
Next report in two weeks from Cazenovia, NY.
