Jack Brooks has got it right . His post seems to cover the usual
suspects.
Water wetter is a crutch though. It works, but by the time you need it for
normal street conditions its time to cut bait. I think you might also be
looking at a new rad. Find a shop that will recore with a high efficiency 4
row ( or whatever will fit ) core. Before that though, do all the cheap
stuff. then just to make sure, have your regular mechanic do a carbon
monoxide chem test to see if your head gskt is leaking. Unlikly, but the
test is cheap if not free.
