I seem to remember there was a lot of trouble getting Vandervell bearings as
far back as
1992 and that Vandervell was actually bought out by AE...
...for a short time AE bearings were actually supplied in Vandervell boxes...
and I
think TRF said that it would supply Vandervell's "only, when they were
available".... I
think there's lots of Triumph engines that Vandervells haven't been available
for for a
long, long, time....
Then again, just last year, my Alfa Romeo buddy got Vandervells for his 3.0 V6
... at
least they came in a Vandervell box... hmmmm
...anyway my point is if Heritage is reproducing them, they're probably not
available
anymore from the original source AND just because they come in a Vandervell box
is no
guarantee that they are really are Vandervell type bearings... bummer :>(
