This is not mine, I'd like a financial interest, but not required....
A buddy of a buddy is selling a '64 Spit project. They called me but I
can't convince the wife that another Triumph is just the thing we
need.....so I am offering it to the list.
I know very little about the car ( other than what I have listed here.
Also I haven't been able to get back in touch with the owner to ask his
permission to put his name and number out all over the world. Please
understand that I know nothing else about the car other than what is
stated here, and this info was given to me over the phone.
The owner says he will take $100 for it.
I'd offer to store it/buy it and store it but there is no way I can
convince my wife that it is a good idea to do that. The car needs to be
gone within two weeks.
What I do know about the car....It was bought in '89-90 and the owner had
stripped the body and then sandblasted it and then primed it. He also
did some work on the frame but I'm not sure to what extent. The motor
and trans have been pulled out of the frame but are still intact. The
only thing he knows that is missing is the front bumper. He said the body
is straight. It was running when he started his restoration.
It is located close to me, but I haven't been able to go look at it
yet....wasn't really planning on it, I get too attached to them.
If any lister is interested, let me know and hopefully by then I'll be in
touch with the owner.
