Yes, they check tires and everything, like worn bushings, brakes,
windscreen wipers, rust and so on.

In a thread not long time ago on the topic proper direction of the
fulcrum pins, it turned out that simply rotating those pins will
increase the negative camber. They locate the upper wishbone, and
rotating them will pull the upper wishbone inwards (ok, if they aren't
rotated already) thereby affecting the camber setting.

Tomorrow (Sunday) I'm off on a 500 mile trip from Bergen to Trondheim
(check your Atlas) taking me along fjords and over mountain passes. If
the weather clears up, it will be a nice trip, otherwise....
