I ordered the Moss mirror, didn't like it and sent it back. Combed all the
wrecking yards and found nothing. Then I was at an antique car parts swap
meet and found several. I bought a matched pair, guaranteed for life by
Eaton's (big, old Canadian department store chain) with the original
receipt from the 60"s. They are as close to original as I could imagine
getting.
Question: My original was mounted on the drivers door only. In that
position you get a greater field of view, which I like since the inside
mirror is partially blocked by the roll bar. Does this position, rather
than on the fender, violate any "Sports car" ethics or aesthetics?
