Out of curiosity... Is anyone out there looking for a TR 8 to restore?
I only ask because... I bought this TR 8 this last weekend, from a
friend, because he had to unload it quickly... he just got a SHO for
graduation from Law School and didn't want to deal with selling his old
car.
I figured I'd drive it and restore it over the next year, and perhaps,
sell it. And this may still be the plan... It's hot looking, fun to
drive, and I always wanted one...but I am a bit over my head with it...
as I have other things I think I'd rather be working on... i.e. my TR
4A... and having two small two seater convertibles, both equally fast (
wink, wink )... it's also not so practical... so I may consider just
turning the car around sooner....
Let me know. It's a relatively rust-free california 1980 TR 8.
At the very least... I could keep ya on a list of interested parties...
. Besides, I've got motorcycle fever... that I just can't get over. :
)
