I agree with Bruce. It's not worth the effort. The leak is probably caused
by excessive oil in the "seal" area, not by a worn seal. Worn rear main
perhaps?? For all your trouble, it will probably still leak. Since the seal
doesn't touch the crank in normal operation, it's not subject to wear.
