When I noticed the spit for sale in the local paper I gave him a call to
get the car in Westwood show. I just had to see a $7,500 custom Spit. I
recognized the car only by the bonnet latches, and nothing else as he
pulled into the parking lot. Now I am not a Spit guru, but .......
Soooooo, if you are interested, I can get you in contact with him. The
blanked off side pipe were "Way Cool!"
Seriously though, although I, and many others considered the look to be
solidly in the "vomiticious" range, the quality of the work was actually
quite good.
Hey, you could put up a web page like J.B. Zimmerman, fly out to the east
coast and drive it home, reporting daily on the web site. J.B. can you
spare your Newton for a few days? Go for it, Joe!
