HI DAN: SORRY I DO NOT HAVE YOUR E MAIL ADDRESS.
I JUST DID A DUMB THING AND SHORTED OUT MY NEWLY REBUILT AMP GAUGE FOR
MY PROJECT TR4. TOO ANXIOUS TO GET IT RUNNING AND LET THE GAUGE POSTS
CONTACT THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE PIPE WHILE THE IGNITION WAS INADVERTANTLY
TURNED ON !!! SMOKE AND SPARKS.
TOOK THE GAUGE APART, AND OBVIOUSLY FOUND THE COPPER WIRE FRIED AND
BROKEN. WHILE I TRY TO FIND THE REPLACEMENT PART (DO YOU KNOW WHERE) CAN
I JUMP THE BROWN/WHITE AND BROWN WIRE THAT GO TO THE GAUGE SO I CAN
CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE ENGINE? OR AM I ASKING FOR MORE TROUBLE WITHOUT
THE GAUGE IN PLACE.
YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
