Guys,
Could I ask those of you who are interested, to welcome another ex-Triumph
bloke to the cyberworld? Subscribers to 'Triumph Over Triumph' magazine
will probably be delighted to know that Paul Richardson (TOT's owner,
editor, Chief Envelope and Stamp licker) now has world-wide 'net and E-Mail
access.
Please take account of the fact that in spite of his advancing years, he
can still feed himself (just) - the mysteries of E-Mail will be unfolding
themselves to him as they did to all of us in the weeks to come, so it may
be a while yet before he gets around to answering your welcoming in-flows.
He's not too sure which icons he ought to be clicking on.
That said, I know he'd appreciate a welcoming message to
paul-richardson@cyberspace.co.uk
All I should say is that Paul did a full time-served apprenticeship working
on Triumphs (especially leaking Heralds) and he's forgotten more about
them, their quirks and foibles than Haynes or Bentley have ever learned. A
definite and undisputed authority on ANYTHING to do with Triumph and his
wife tells me he misses them so much, he still takes his spanners to bed
with him.
Looks as though this could be yet another FIRST for Triumph - like disc
brakes and fuel injection. Have Spridgets and MG's got two ex-employees on
their lists who are happy to chat and write about them.
Be gentle with him - he's still stuck some way in Whitworth country, and
like me, can't see anything wrong with Lucas!
