I've sat idly by for a while now and I must throw in my opinion. As a manager of a tire shop(Dunlop) I can tell you that the main difference between a tube type and a tubeless tire is the amount of rubber used in the inner liner of the tire. A tubeless tire carries more rubber on the inner liner so it can be buffed in order for a patch to be glued to it. Just my educated opinion for what it's worth. Michael |
