Earliest TR250 ?

Hi Listers

A good friend has recently imported a LHD TR250 into Australia from LA.

Its a green one-owner car that has sat for many years with a diff problem.

It is a very early original example.

Body number 1CC 

Comm number CD228 LO

Eng. no. C200E

My friend would like to know if the body numbers are individually 
sequentially stamped or were body numbers shared?

Is it possible that his is the first TR250?
