Ron,
The suggestions that I got were:
change the oil
change & regap the spark plugs to .35 instead of .25
new air filters
adjust it to run less rich
make sure it is at running temp before the test
change the points, & condensor
don't have a full tank of gas before the test
I think that's about it, of course that's what got me to the stage where
"it won't start", too.
